Yunnan builds a long-term mechanism for caring for medical personnel

Recently, Yunnan Provincial Health Commission and other departments jointly issued the implementation opinions on establishing a long-term mechanism for the protection, care and care of medical personnel (hereinafter referred to as the Implementation Opinions). The implementation opinions specify that in the disposal of major natural disasters or public health emergencies and foreign medical assistance tasks, we should strengthen the overall allocation of emergency protective materials for medical personnel and the life security of front-line medical personnel. Among them, the qualified hotels, guest houses and other fixed places around the workplace shall be requisitioned according to the demand, so as to provide a good living and rest environment and necessary conditions for isolation for front-line medical personnel. In the disposal of major natural disasters or public health emergencies and foreign aid medical tasks, we should make overall arrangements for the rotation and shift of front-line medical personnel, do a good job in the rotation and isolation guarantee of front-line medical personnel, and arrange compulsory rest for front-line medical personnel who work overload for a long time. Medical and health institutions can appropriately increase the rest and paid leave time according to the length of time and severity of medical personnel participating in the disposal of public health emergencies.
