Finance Minister Liu Kun said that in the face of risks and challenges, G20 members should work together to provide stability factors for an unstable world. From April 20 to 21, the G20 finance ministers and central bank governors' meeting was held in a combination of online and offline. Liu Kun attended the meeting and delivered a speech by video. Liu Kun said that we should strive to improve the international system with the United Nations as the core and the international order based on international law, and not politicize, instrumentalize and weaponize the world economy. Establish a sense of community, adopt responsible economic policies and tap the driving force of innovation. Address the concerns of developing countries through multiple channels to ensure that the people's livelihood of all countries is not affected. China welcomes all parties to support and participate in global development initiatives and accelerate the implementation of the UN 2030 agenda for sustainable development. Liu Kun pointed out that China is willing to continue to work with all parties to improve the global health governance framework under the framework of the World Health Organization, strengthen anti epidemic financing cooperation, and implement the consensus of G20 leaders. China supports the G20 financial channel to share experience on financial policies to address climate change and promote green and low-carbon development based on its own functions and in accordance with the relevant principles of the United Nations Framework Convention on climate change. China is willing to follow the principle of "joint action and fair burden" and implement the common framework for debt relief initiative follow-up debt treatment in an orderly manner on a case by case basis and in accordance with the G20 consensus. In response to the statements made by some members on the impact of Geopolitics on the global economy, China stressed its opposition to politicizing economic issues. The G20 should adhere to its own responsibility orientation, and relevant discussions should focus on economic impact and follow the principle of comprehensiveness and balance. (Xinhua News Agency)
