As early as December 2017, the implementation opinions on further promoting the reform of school examination and enrollment system in senior high schools issued by the Department of education of Guangdong Province proposed that the examination of nine subjects, including Chinese, mathematics, foreign language, morality and the rule of law, history, geography, physics, chemistry and biology, will be transferred step by step from the proposition entrusted by each city to the proposition uniformly organized by the provincial education examination institute and implemented by each city. The examination of physical and chemical students' experimental operation, physical education and health, music, art and information technology shall be formulated and organized by the city. At the same time, the examination time of each discipline is determined according to the curriculum plan and the principle of "examination after learning". Among them, the examination time of subjects entrusted or uniformly proposed by the provincial education examination institute is determined by the provincial education examination institute. Students can only obtain the examination qualification of a subject after completing a subject according to the curriculum standards. When will Guangdong realize the proposition of provincial unification? The Ministry of education proposed that provinces that do not have the conditions for provincial unified proposition this year should study and put forward a work plan to accelerate the promotion of provincial unified proposition, clarify the timetable and road map, and realize the provincial unified proposition of high school entrance examination by 2024. In this regard, the relevant person in charge of the provincial education examination institute said that from this year, the mid-term examination in 19 cities in Guangdong will be reformed from entrusted proposition to unified proposition organized by the provincial education examination institute, and Guangzhou and Shenzhen are still independent propositions.
