There were 5 newly confirmed cases imported from abroad in the province (including 1 case of asymptomatic infection), and 2 cases were reported in Guangzhou, all from Solomon Islands; Shenzhen reported 2 cases, all from Hong Kong, China; Foshan reported a case from Singapore. 66 cases of asymptomatic infection were newly imported from abroad, 11 cases were reported in Guangzhou, 4 cases were from the United Arab Emirates, 2 cases were from South Africa, and the remaining 5 cases were from Hong Kong, China, Iraq, Solomon Islands, Seychelles and Oman respectively; Foshan reported 2 cases, from Thailand and UAE respectively; Dongguan reported 19 cases, all from Malaysia; Shenzhen reported 28 cases, Zhuhai reported 1 case, Zhongshan reported 1 case and Jiangmen reported 4 cases, all from Hong Kong, China. 54 cases were newly discharged, and 205 cases are currently in hospital.
