2022-04-06
Recently, a study published by the research team of the physical examination department of the national circulatory disease research center of Japan in the Journal of environmental health and Preventive Medicine reported for the first time that people who use stairs more in their daily life have a lower risk of atrial fibrillation. The research team took 6575 residents aged 30-84 who had no previous history of atrial fibrillation as the subjects, and conducted a questionnaire survey for an average of 14.7 years. The results showed that the risk of atrial fibrillation in the group with more than 60% stairs was 31% lower than that in the group with less than 20% stairs; By adjusting various influencing factors, the risk of atrial fibrillation was reduced by 29%; And the 31% risk reduction was not related to exercise habits. The researchers believe that the above study shows that 3 stairs per day can significantly reduce the incidence rate of atrial fibrillation in people who use more than 60% stairs. (outlook new era)
