According to the official website of Guangdong Provincial Health Commission, from 0:00 to 24:00 on March 31, there were 4 newly confirmed cases in the province, including 1 case in Zhuhai, 1 case in Dongguan, 1 case in Zhongshan and 1 case in Zhaoqing. There were 14 new cases of asymptomatic infection in Guangzhou, 1 in Shenzhen, 1 in Shantou, 1 in Huizhou, 8 in Dongguan and 1 in Zhaoqing. There were 2 newly confirmed cases imported from abroad in the province, and 1 case was reported in Guangzhou, from Canada; Zhuhai reported a case from Hong Kong, China. 32 cases of asymptomatic infection were newly imported from abroad, 9 cases were reported in Guangzhou, 2 cases were from Japan, 2 cases came to South Korea, and the other 5 cases were from Canada, New Zealand, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq and Qatar respectively; Foshan reported 5 cases, 3 cases from South Korea, and the other 2 cases from Spain and Saudi Arabia respectively; Shenzhen reported 15 cases, Zhuhai reported 1 case and Jiangmen reported 2 cases, all from Hong Kong, China. 84 cases were newly discharged, and 506 cases are currently in hospital. Novel coronavirus pneumonia positive infection was reported in 12796 cases (8068 cases imported), as of March 31st, 24 cases, including 6592 cases (3739 cases imported) and 6204 cases of asymptomatic infection (4329 cases were imported abroad).
