The National Conference on consolidating and expanding the achievements of poverty alleviation and effectively connecting with Rural Revitalization and promoting the work of key counties for Rural Revitalization was held in Qujing, Yunnan Province on the 27th. Hu Chunhua, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and vice premier of the State Council, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Hu Chunhua pointed out that we should take increasing the income of the people out of poverty as a fundamental measure to continuously narrow the income gap. We should earnestly consolidate the momentum of increasing the income of migrant workers, give play to the driving role of industrial income, and strive to stabilize the income from transfer and public welfare posts. We should improve the normalized assistance mechanism for social security and ensure that the level of comprehensive security is steadily improved. Hu Chunhua stressed that we should take accelerating the development of poverty relief counties as the main direction, constantly narrow the development gap, and ensure the continuous consolidation and improvement of the "Three Guarantees" and drinking water safety guarantee level. We should vigorously develop rural industries, accelerate the development and expansion of county economy, and strengthen the connection between poverty relief counties and developed areas. We should strengthen the centralized support for key counties to ensure that they do not fall behind in development. Hu Chunhua pointed out that we should comprehensively promote rural revitalization, turn the work object to all farmers, turn the work task to promote the "five revitalization" of rural areas, and turn the work measures to promote development. We should focus on industries, promote rural development, solidly and steadily promote rural construction, and strengthen and improve rural governance. The Rural Revitalization system should fully perform its duties and tasks, and strengthen overall coordination and classified guidance. Responsible comrades of Party committees or governments of all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps, responsible comrades of relevant central departments and main responsible comrades of Party committees or governments of key counties for the revitalization of national hometown villages attended the meeting on site or by video.
