The pilot free trade zone has the great advantage of being located at home and connected to the world. It needs to better serve and integrate into the new development pattern while realizing its own development. Therefore, each pilot free trade zone should focus on accelerating the development of industries with different characteristics, continuously extend and expand the industrial chain, and better promote the mutual promotion of domestic and international double cycles through the radiation and drive of the industrial chain. The world is undergoing great changes that have not been seen in a century. The international economic pattern is accelerating changes and adjustments. To stand out in the more fierce international competition, it is particularly important to grasp the initiative of development and create the competitive advantage of the industrial chain. Since the 18th CPC National Congress, China has successively deployed and established 21 pilot free trade zones, forming a pilot pattern covering the East, West, North and south. According to the data of July 2021, China's pilot free trade zone has launched 278 institutional innovation achievements at the national level, giving full play to the role of the "experimental field" of reform and opening up. At the same time, the pilot free trade zone has actively served the needs of industrial development, built a number of world leading industrial clusters, and made important contributions to high-quality development. Facing the future, based on the existing industrial foundation, each pilot free trade zone can comply with the development trend of the times, better serve the national strategic needs, and continue to make efforts in building characteristic industries. Second, promote institutional innovation in the direction of "integration".
