According to the official website of Guangdong Provincial Health Commission, at 0-24 o'clock on March 21, 25 local confirmed cases were added in Guangdong Province (of which 2 cases were transferred from asymptomatic infection), 23 cases were reported in Shenzhen and 2 cases were reported in Zhongshan. Five new cases of asymptomatic infection were reported in Shenzhen. There were 12 newly confirmed cases imported from abroad in Guangdong Province (of which 1 case was transferred from asymptomatic infection), 8 cases were reported in Guangzhou, 6 cases were from Indonesia and 2 cases were from Nigeria; Foshan reported 1 case from Tajikistan; Shenzhen reported 1 case and Zhuhai reported 2 cases, both from Hong Kong, China. 39 cases of asymptomatic infection were newly imported from abroad, 5 cases were reported in Guangzhou, 2 cases were from Nigeria, and the remaining 3 cases were from South Korea, Indonesia and South Africa respectively; Shenzhen reported 26 cases, Zhuhai reported 4 cases, Zhongshan reported 3 cases and Jiangmen reported 1 case, all from Hong Kong, China. 129 cases were newly discharged, and 1169 cases are currently in hospital. Novel coronavirus pneumonia positive infection was reported in 12211 cases (7649 cases imported) in Guangdong Province as of 24 March 21st, including 6461 cases (3670 cases imported abroad), 5750 cases without symptom infection (3979 cases imported abroad).
