March 21 is world poetry day. That night, the multi-dimensional dialogue of global youth "the integration of Chinese and western poetic art: classical aesthetics in New Poetry" was held. Young poets and translators from China, Britain, Poland, Armenia, Chile and South Korea were invited to have a dialogue with famous Chinese poets Zang Di, Xidu and Regge, and share and exchange around the classical elements and representative poetry cases in the new poetry. The event was organized by the cultural communication center of the China Foreign Affairs Bureau. At the beginning of the event, the organizer showed the multilingual version of "in the mirror" translated and recited by guests from six countries. Professor Zang Di of the Chinese Department of Peking University said that throughout the development of new poetry, there have always been differences and debates on the relationship between new poetry and traditional poetry. After the 1980s, young poets began to regard classical poetry as cultural resources, draw nutrition from it, and try to narrow the relationship between new poetry and classical poetry, so there was the poem in the mirror. Lei Ge, chief editor of Chu'an literature, believes that Chinese classical poetry has a relatively complete aesthetic paradigm and has high acceptance among the people, but as a product of agricultural civilization, it is also easy to "acclimatize" with modern civilization. He said that this problem also exists in western poetry. In the sharing session of youth representatives, Joanna Krenz, an associate professor at the Oriental College of mizkevich University in Poznan, said that in poetry translation, translators should consciously weaken the gap between Chinese and foreign grammar and pay attention to presenting the classical original appearance in poetry. Armenian poet Robert tsaturyan said that reading, learning and translating foreign language poetry are all out of the pursuit of strangeness in the language, and the poem "in the mirror" can attract readers around the world to understand the charm of Chinese language and culture.
