Recently, the launching ceremony and the first meeting of the Expert Advisory Committee on the integration of Taoist living culture image data of the compilation and publication project of "Chinese continued Taoist collection" were held in Guangzhou. The integration project of Taoist living culture image data is guided by the central United Front Work Department, supervised and managed by the China Taoist Association, and the Guangdong Taoist Association is the implementation subject and responsible unit, which is responsible for the deployment and implementation of the project. According to the introduction of Taoist priest Zhang Chun, the person in charge of the subject, the subject integrates the protection, sorting and inheritance of Taoist living culture. For the purpose of promoting the Sinicization of Taoism, rescuing and protecting Taoist cultural heritage, cultivating Taoist talents and "preaching and performing religion", the subject establishes a digital resource database of Taoist living culture image data, which is incorporated into the Chinese continued Taoist collection, so as to realize the academic research and resource sharing of Taoist living culture such as Chinese Taoist classics, rhymes and scientific instruments. The project lasts for three years. It will record, edit and film the existing important classics, rhymes, scientific instruments and intangible cultural heritage of about 15 representative Taoist temples in China (including Hong Kong and Taiwan), conduct interviews with representatives, form Taoist living cultural image materials, and integrate data banks, samples, academic articles, audio-visual publications and books. The research group is collecting and sorting out data, and plans to record and shoot for the first time in Sanyuan palace, Guangzhou in April. Li Hanying, Secretary General of the China Taoist Association, said that the compilation of the Chinese continued Taoist collection was listed as a major cultural project in the national 13th five year plan, which is of great significance to continue the Chinese context and promote the healthy inheritance of Taoism.
