On March 16, the first meeting of the security and defense Subcommittee of the China Nigeria Intergovernmental Committee was held by video. The leaders of the International Military Cooperation Office of the Central Military Commission and the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of national defense of Nigeria co chaired the meeting. The leaders of relevant departments of the Ministry of public security and the Ministry of national security and the heads of relevant departments of Nigeria participated in the meeting. The two sides exchanged views on exchanges and cooperation in the field of security and defense and issues of common concern.
