Differences among countries in national interests, social systems and ideologies should not become obstacles to dialogue, let alone reasons for confrontation. The world is indivisible and security is indivisible. Zhang Jun said that the cold war has long ended, and the cold war thinking based on group confrontation should be completely abandoned. Sticking to the logic of hegemony and provoking camp antagonism can only bring disaster to the world and exacerbate turbulence and division. This is true in Europe and elsewhere. The world does not need a "new cold war", and the world can fully accommodate the common growth and progress of all countries. All countries should strengthen solidarity and cooperation under the banner of multilateralism and jointly promote the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind. Zhang Jun stressed that China's position on the Ukrainian issue is consistent and clear. *** These "four should" are China's most authoritative position on the Ukrainian issue. China calls for maximum restraint, effective protection of the safety and basic needs of civilians and the safety and smoothness of humanitarian corridors.
