After all, where there is traffic, science popularization workers should expand their territory. To spread sound well, you have to use a good horn. However, most of these science popularization personnel "generate electricity for love", have no team and investment, and sometimes worry about being misunderstood as "not doing business" by their predecessors or peers. Short video pursues the characteristics of "short, flat and fast", which is also in contradiction with the rigorous scientific research content. In order to generate popular funds by popular science in the field of short video, which is unfamiliar to researchers, it is actually very necessary to study and try. Therefore, making good use of short videos to popularize science needs many efforts. As the representative members said, we should have a mechanism to encourage researchers to show their faces on the platform and remove obstacles for them to embrace the short video platform; The platform should also tilt the flow of relevant content and actively push high-quality popular science content to potential audiences. The platform itself also has to set an access threshold for the so-called popular science bloggers, strengthen the formal review of knowledge accounts, and evaluate and grasp the content. Relevant departments can also create conditions to support and encourage scientific research institutes, popular science institutions and short video platforms to reach cooperation, and let professional "think tanks" check the popular science content. In fact, it is not necessary for scientific researchers to take part in science popularization in person.
