There were no new deaths. There were 7 new suspected cases, all of which were imported from abroad (all in Shanghai). On the same day, 68 cured discharge cases were added, 1499 close contacts were released from medical observation, and the severe cases were the same as the previous day. There are 1199 confirmed cases imported from abroad (including 1 severe case) and 7 suspected cases. There were 13909 confirmed cases, 12710 cured cases and no deaths. As of 24:00 on February 24, according to the reports of 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government) and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps, there are 2254 confirmed cases (including 18 severe cases), 101714 cured and discharged cases, 4636 dead cases, 108604 confirmed cases and 7 suspected cases. A total of 1607712 close contacts were tracked, and 56114 close contacts were still under medical observation. 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government) and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps reported 109 new asymptomatic infections, including 87 imported from abroad, 22 local cases (9 in Yunnan, including 7 in Lincang City, 1 in Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture, 1 in Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture; 5 in Guangdong, all in Shenzhen; 4 in Sichuan, including 2 in Deyang City and 2 in Mianyang City; 3 in Heilongjiang, all in Heihe City; 1 in Shanghai, in Minhang District); 35 cases were confirmed on the same day (31 cases were imported from abroad); 32 cases were released from medical observation on the same day (21 cases were imported from abroad); 816 cases of asymptomatic infection are still under medical observation (668 cases imported from abroad). A total of 55368 confirmed cases were reported from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
