The measures of the customs of the people's Republic of China for the administration of comprehensive bonded areas (hereinafter referred to as the measures for the administration of comprehensive bonded areas) will come into force on April 1. The measures for the administration of comprehensive bonded areas comprehensively deployed to improve the standardization and legalization of the management of comprehensive bonded areas from the aspects of integrating and solidifying the policies and measures of comprehensive bonded areas, reflecting the new functions of Customs institutional reform, reserving development space and strengthening collaborative governance. Up to now, the number of comprehensive bonded areas in China has reached 155, accounting for 92.8% of the number of existing special customs supervision areas, which has become the absolute main force of special customs supervision areas. In 2021, the import and export value of the National Comprehensive Bonded Zone reached 5.9 trillion yuan, 2.4 percentage points higher than the growth rate of national foreign trade import and export in the same period.
