We should strengthen source control, strictly standardize the use and management of pesticides and veterinary drugs, continuously purify the environment of production areas, and curb the flow of contaminated food into the market and dining tables from the source. We should deepen the construction of the standard system, learn from international experience, strengthen follow-up evaluation, and speed up the formulation and revision of limit indicators and test methods urgently needed by supervision. We should strengthen scientific and technological support, promote new technologies, explore the establishment of a national unified food safety information traceability platform, strengthen the analysis and application of big data, and improve the pertinence and effectiveness of supervision.
