At the beginning of the lunar new year, at the construction site of zizhuwan interchange of Zhuhai Jinhai highway bridge, the builders are going all out to promote the construction period node of fully opening the superstructure construction in April. On February 14, the reporter learned from the project construction unit China Railway Construction Bridge Engineering Bureau that the interchange undertakes the important task of introducing the traffic flow of Jinhai East Road into Jinhai bridge and will build a new high-speed connection channel between Zhuhai airport and even the whole Jinwan area, Hengqin Guangdong Macao deep cooperation zone and Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge. At the same time, the phase II construction of Zhuji intercity from Hezhou to the east of Sanzao tunnel is also advancing simultaneously. Zizhuwan interchange, located in Sanzao Town, Jinwan District, Zhuhai, is close to the Binhai Business District of Zhuhai Aviation Industrial Park. By the end of 2020, the first pile foundation of the interchange will be drilled. Up to now, half of the 110 piers of the whole interchange have been poured, and some piers have been erected with beams. The interchange is equipped with two ramps and two main lines as entrances and exits, which are connected to the two directions of Jinhai East Road. After completion, if you start from Zhuhai airport and drive eastward along Jinhai East Road to the vicinity of Zhuhai Institute of science and technology, you can directly drive into Jinhai bridge with a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour through zizhuwan interchange, and arrive at Hengqin interchange in about 10 minutes. Further north, you can connect with the connecting line of Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge through Hongwan interchange through Hengqin second bridge. The driving time from Zhuhai airport to Xiangzhou Nanping is expected to be controlled within half an hour. After the Spring Festival, China Railway Construction Bridge Engineering Bureau paid close attention to the construction of the substructure of zizhuwan interchange to prepare for the full opening of the superstructure construction in April. It is expected that in July, in order to cooperate with the construction of zizhuwan interchange, a new round of traffic control measures will be taken for Jinhai East Road to guide the traffic flow into the temporary access road on the premise that the number of existing lanes remains unchanged, so as to minimize the impact on the traffic. China Railway Construction Bridge Engineering Bureau is also working hard to promote the construction of the phase II Zhuji intercity line from Hezhou to the east of Sanzao tunnel. This section of urban rail transit line and Jinhai highway bridge cross Baiteng River waterway together. After Jinhai highway bridge is connected to Jinhai East Road, the urban rail line enters Zhuhai Airport westward along the coastline. This section of urban rail transit will become a rail transit line that can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the coast in the future. On February 14, the reporter saw at the construction site that the builders were making the beams required for subsequent hoisting. On the Baiteng River waterway, the builders are carrying out the hanging basket construction in an orderly manner for the main span of the 180 meter long bridge, and strive to realize the closure as soon as possible. Beside Jinhai East Road, some track lines have been paved with ancillary facilities on the bridge deck. During the whole Spring Festival, 240 builders of the project stuck to their posts and the project construction was "not closed". According to the construction period plan of Zhuhai Communications Group, Guangdong Guangzhu intercity rail transit company and other construction units, the construction of Jinhai highway bridge and phase II of Zhujiang airport intercity will be completed in 2023.
