From the typical cases reported by the central ecological and environmental protection supervision group recently, the acts of destroying the ecological environment in the Yangtze River Basin and the Yellow River Basin have also been reported repeatedly. For example, the wastewater from tailings pond is discharged directly into the Yangtze River, the excessive sewage is discharged into the river, the Yellow River is diverted to "build a lake", the waste residue is dumped illegally, the water is taken in violation of regulations, and the wetland ecological protection is not effective... These problems have exposed the lax thinking, insufficient understanding, wanton pollution and weak supervision of some regions and functional departments in ecological and environmental protection. At the same time, it also exposed the shortcomings of water environment protection, such as inefficient operation of sewage treatment plant and slow and lagging construction of sewage treatment pipe network. As a big country with water shortage, China has always stressed the importance of water environment protection. However, due to the difficulty and high investment in water pollution control, it is difficult to achieve results in the short term, and it is difficult to achieve political achievements. Some regions and departments have calculated the "economic account", moved a crooked mind, laissez faire pollution and avoided problems, and tried to muddle through in the face of supervision and inspection with less investment and no investment in environmental protection, but this can only be wishful thinking. Mistakes can be changed, and nothing is good. In terms of ecological and environmental protection, we "push forward" by supervision and inspection, fail to establish the concept of long-term protection and governance, and pay attention to ecological and environmental protection. These inappropriate ideas should be "stopped" as soon as possible.
