The old man was one of the most serious patients who received treatment after the arrival of the medical expert group. On December 15 last year, the appearance of the old man when he first came to see a doctor really surprised the medical staff - the old man was very weak because of the huge tumor in his body. After careful examination, it was learned that the old man's tumor had grown for 13 years, and he was also suffering from chronic diseases such as hypertension and asthma. Previously, due to remote residence and extremely inconvenient transportation, the elderly have not been able to receive special treatment. After a careful examination of the patient, the expert group quickly convened experts from the Department of Anesthesiology, cardiology and nursing to conduct a rigorous evaluation and determine the operation plan. Finally, after adjusting blood pressure, blood glucose and breathing training for a week, the expert group successfully removed the huge tumor on December 28. After the operation, the nursing expert team took good care of the elderly in terms of diet and psychology. It is reported that this is the first time that the 103 Hospital of the Lao People's army has successfully completed such a complex operation for elderly patients. "While carrying out medical services, we also focus on helping Lao medical staff improve relevant technologies."
