Wang Yi stressed that the so-called "debt trap" in Africa is not a fact, but hype with ulterior motives by some people. It is a "discourse trap" created by forces who do not want to see Africa accelerate development. If there is any "trap" in Africa, it is the "poverty trap" and the "backwardness trap", which should be got rid of as soon as possible.
