At least 4 people were killed and 15 injured in an explosion in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan province in southwestern Pakistan. Pakistani media quoted police sources on the same day as saying that the explosion occurred near a school in Quetta city when a group of students walked out of the school building, causing casualties and damaging many nearby buildings and cars. Security forces and rescue workers then rushed to the scene and took the dead and injured to hospital. The scene has been blocked and the security forces are investigating the incident. In an interview with Xinhua news agency, Baige, spokesman of Quetta citizen's Hospital, said that the hospital has received the remains of four victims, and another 15 injured were treated in the hospital. At present, no organization or individual has claimed to have caused the explosion. In April this year, an explosion occurred in a hotel in Quetta, killing at least 3 people and wounding 11 others.
