The 4th is the national constitution day. The Macao SAR held a number of special activities to publicize and promote the Constitution and the Macao basic law. The Legal Affairs Bureau of the SAR government held the National Constitution Day promotion activity and the premiere of a series of publicity videos on the constitution, which aims to enhance social constitutional awareness, carry forward the constitutional spirit, strengthen the implementation of the Constitution and comprehensively promote the rule of law. The event also invited experts on the basic law as keynote speakers to give special lectures to the public. In addition, the Legal Affairs Bureau held the "all Australia online constitutional knowledge breakthrough competition" from April 4 to 18, hoping to deepen people's understanding of the Constitution and the basic law through the combination of games and education. There are 50 awards in the competition, and the top 50 contestants in the final ranking will be rewarded. The education and Youth Development Bureau of the SAR government held a special event on the national constitution day. The activity kicked off with the release ceremony of new books in Portuguese and English versions of supplementary textbooks for the Constitution and basic law and Macao history textbooks. Luo Weijian, director of the Research Center for the Constitution and basic law of the University of Macao, was invited to introduce the achievements in the systematic research of universal education of the Constitution and basic law of the Macao Special Administrative Region. At the event site, there was an exhibition of law popularization education work and teaching materials of Macao Education and Youth Bureau, summarizing the achievements of law popularization work of Macao Education and Youth Bureau in curriculum setting, textbook preparation, constitutional and basic law education promotion of higher and non higher education, and displaying the achievements of many years of continuous constitutional and basic law education work of students, youth associations and communities in Macao. In conjunction with the national constitution day, Macao colleges and universities held a series of related activities. Earlier, the Macao Institute of technology held an online lecture on "changes and development of China's constitution", detailing the basic spirit and core connotation of the current constitution and explaining the relationship between the Constitution and the basic law. Non higher education schools in the special zone previously set up a "Law Popularization Education Week" to carry out more diversified activities and cultivate students' spirit of rule of law on the basis of all kinds of law popularization education.
