The report objectively presents the development of students' moral education and the quality of scientific learning in the stage of compulsory education in China, analyzes the key factors affecting the quality of education in related disciplines, and responds to the hot and difficult problems of education. More than 85% of grade 4 and grade 8 students have better daily behavior norms in terms of diligence and economy, honesty and trustworthiness, unity and friendliness and compliance with public morality, which are higher than the previous round of moral education monitoring in 2017. More than 80% of the fourth and eighth grade students like to take moral and rule of law courses, and more than 95% of the fourth and eighth grade students report that the school has carried out various forms of moral education activities. The number of school moral and rule of law teachers can generally meet the teaching needs. The collaborative education of family, school and society needs to be deepened. 88.5% of the fourth grade students and 78% of the eighth grade students are satisfied with their relationship with their parents. The fourth and eighth grade students think that their parents are most concerned about their own learning and hope that their parents are most concerned about their own health, interests and specialties. 88.5% of the fourth grade students and 78.0% of the eighth grade students reported that "I am satisfied with the relationship between me and my parents". The monitoring results of science learning quality show that 80% and 79.5% of the students in grade 4 and grade 8 have achieved medium and above levels in science learning respectively. 86% of the students in grade 4 have high or high interest in science learning, and 68.6% have high or high self-confidence in learning. 82.3%, 80.9% and 71.1% of the students in Grade 8 have high or high interest in physics, biology and geography respectively , the proportion of high or high learning self-confidence was 45.1%, 62% and 53.1% respectively. Students have high interest in science learning, but their self-confidence in science learning needs to be improved, and their science learning methods need to be improved. The monitoring results show that 86.0% of fourth graders have high or high interest in science learning; 82.3%, 80.9% and 71.1% of eighth graders have high or high interest in physics, biology and geography respectively, which is higher than the previous round of science monitoring in 2017. Nearly 20% of eighth grade students expect to engage in science related careers when they grow up. 18.8% of eighth grade students in China expect to engage in science careers when they grow up. Among them, 5.7% expect to become science and engineering professionals, 10.5% expect to become health professionals, 2.3% expect to become information and communication technology professionals, and 0.3% expect to become science and technology professionals Technicians and assistant professionals. The teaching behavior of science teachers has improved significantly, and the proportion of science teachers with high level of inquiry teaching has increased significantly compared with the previous round of scientific monitoring in 2017.
