Green Road, ecological priority There is a "net red" station on the old fellow railway, the wild elephant valley station. Yexianggu station, located in Jinghong City, Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, is adjacent to the Asian elephant nature reserve. How to minimize the impact of railway construction on Asian elephants? From design to construction, the builders took great pains. At the beginning of the design, with the cooperation of local governments and forestry departments, relevant departments and units investigated the distribution and migration channels of Asian elephants, and finally decided to avoid the main activity areas of Asian elephants. At the same time, in order to increase the activity channel of Asian elephants, builders built bridges or tunnels instead of laying railways in some possible activity areas of elephants. As a landlocked country, Laos has only a 3.5km long railway, and there is a shortage of railway professional and technical personnel. Kunming Railway Vocational and technical college will take 7 years to help Laos establish a mature railway technology training system and reserve Laos' own railway talents with reference to China's vocational education model.
