On November 29, the third China Russia energy business forum was held in Beijing and Moscow in a combination of offline and online. *** *** Energy cooperation has always been the most important, fruitful and extensive field of practical cooperation between the two countries. With the personal attention and promotion of the two heads of state, China Russia energy cooperation maintained a good momentum of positive development and achieved a series of practical results. The two sides should implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, forge a closer energy cooperation partnership, and promote China Russia energy cooperation to achieve long-term, sustainable and high-level development. The ROK is putting forward four suggestions on Deepening China Russia energy cooperation. First, accelerate the formation of a cooperation pattern of top-down connection and horizontal coordination, and promote the coordinated development of energy trade, investment, technology and service cooperation. Second, actively expand new areas and new connotations of energy cooperation, strengthen pilot and application cooperation of new technologies in the energy field, and deepen docking and mutual recognition cooperation of energy standards. Third, further create a good cooperation environment, provide high-quality services, and guide and promote energy enterprises of both sides to expand investment. Fourth, jointly promote the green and low-carbon transformation of energy, deepen cooperation in renewable energy, hydrogen energy, energy storage and smart energy, jointly implement global development initiatives and make positive contributions to addressing climate change. Borisov and Novak, deputy prime ministers of the government of the Russian Federation, Sechin, Secretary General of the energy development strategy and Ecological Security Committee of the Russian President and President of Rosneft attended the opening ceremony. Sechin read out a congratulatory letter from Russian President Vladimir Putin and delivered a speech, while Novak delivered a speech.
