By the end of October, the special rectification action had achieved remarkable results. Local market supervision departments urged 1886 online trading platforms to review the inspection and testing qualifications of operators in the platform, verified 480000 operators in total, verified 11.95 million sales information, and disposed of 2321 illegal operators. A total of 2702 operators in the platform containing relevant illegal publicity information were urged to deal with by relevant platforms, involving 308 false advertising. A total of 13 cases of fraudulent use of the qualification of inspection and testing institutions, forging or altering inspection and testing reports by online trading platforms, 14 cases of false advertising, 4 cases of violations of laws and regulations by inspection and testing institutions, and 4 cases of transfer to public security organs were investigated and dealt with. In order to further strengthen the interpretation of the law with cases, release strict control signals and deter illegal acts, on the same day, the State Administration of Market Supervision announced 7 typical cases of special rectification actions, including 6 cases in which operators or intermediary companies in the platform were suspected of falsely using inspection and testing qualifications, forging or altering inspection and testing reports, publishing false advertising and publicity information, and 1 case in which relevant inspection and testing institutions violated laws and regulations.
