The 24-hour continuous pouring operation construction of the S08 contract section of the deep and medium channel creates a new speed of completing prefabrication in 29 days, which is 15 days shorter than the average prefabrication time of other pipe joints in the contract section. Shenzhen China channel project is a world-class project integrating "bridge, island, tunnel and underwater interconnection". The immersed tunnel of the project is about 6.8km long and consists of 32 immersed pipe joints and one final joint. It is the first two-way eight Lane steel shell concrete immersed tunnel in the world. The prefabricated E27 pipe joint is the sixth pipe joint at the east end of deep and medium channel immersed tunnel, and it is also the first standard pipe joint prefabricated in this bid section. The pipe section is 165 meters long, 10.6 meters high and 46 meters wide. It adopts a rectangular double-layer steel shell + a "sandwich" composite structure filled with high flow self compacting concrete, and about 29300 cubic meters of self compacting concrete are poured. "E27 pipe joint is the one with the largest amount of concrete pouring and the largest number of compartments in the immersed tunnel of the deep and medium channel.
