The 14th five year plan and the long-term goal outline for 2035 will "accelerate digital development and build a digital China", and put forward the new economic index of the added value of core industries in the digital economy as a proportion of GDP (gross domestic product) for the first time. With the advanced development of the Internet, the next blue ocean of digital information technology revolution is about to emerge. From 2021, Tencent, Facebook (Facebook), Microsoft and other well-known Internet enterprises at home and abroad began to make every effort to layout a new field, namely metauniverse. In their view, the meta universe is the successor of the mobile Internet, and the doors of the virtual world and the real world have been opened. Metauniverse may become a new direction of Internet development, or it may be the next form of digital economy development. The exploration of yuancosmos will promote the deep integration of real economy and digital economy, and promote the digital economy to a new stage. Exploring and developing the meta universe will help to further accelerate the digital upgrading of China's economy and society, and give birth to new development momentum with scientific and technological innovation. Technology integration enables real economy Computing power and data are the basis for the development of meta universe and digital economy, and the development of meta universe and digital economy requires "ABCD" based on 5g, in which a is artificial intelligence, B is blockchain, C is cloud computing and D is big data. These major technological innovations are integrated and developed to jointly promote the development of digital economy, so as to apply digital economy to all kinds of operation scenarios of the whole society. Metauniverse not only includes 5g, artificial intelligence, blockchain, cloud computing and big data in the digital economy, but also integrates the forward-looking layout of VR, AR, brain computer interface, Internet of things and other technologies. The key to the development of metauniverse lies in vigorously improving the ability of independent innovation, breaking through key core technologies and realizing high-quality development. Diversified and refined application of computing power Computational power is not only the basic element of the meta universe, but also a barometer to measure the development of digital economy. In the physical world, electricity is a very important factor of productivity. In the era of digital economy, computing power has become a very key indicator. Per capita computing power can reflect the development level of digital economy in a region. Digital government, financial technology, smart medicine, intelligent manufacturing and other Internet innovation fields all need computing support. The development of computing power is very fast. In Moore's law, the performance of the chip doubles every 18 months, but now the doubling time of computing power can be basically shortened to 3 ~ 4 months. However, it should be noted that to promote the healthy development of computing power center, it is necessary to clarify what "applications" such as data center, Supercomputing Center and Intelligent Computing Center are, that is, how to map diversified computing power to different application scenarios. For example, the development of Intelligent Computing Center mainly involves three categories: image processing, decision-making and natural language processing. Adapting different computing centers to different application scenarios is a key step in the development of computing power. At this stage, China must improve the resilience of computing power supply, build a solid base of digital economy, carry out diversified computing power innovation, and carry out independent and controllable innovation based on the application of hardware and software. In addition, the state has announced that it will adopt more powerful policies and measures to make China's carbon dioxide emissions reach the peak by 2030 and strive to achieve carbon neutralization by 2060. The data center is driven by electricity, and the booming data center is also one of the important sources of carbon emissions. Therefore, when developing computing power, we must fully consider carbon emission factors, speed up the layout of green intelligent data and computing facilities, improve energy efficiency, increase the proportion of clean energy use, and promote the development of "green computing". Distributed storage and value enablement of data In addition to computing power, another important basic element of building a meta universe and digital economy is data. In April 2020, the CPC Central Committee and the State Council issued the opinions on building a more perfect system and mechanism for market-oriented allocation of factors, which made it clear for the first time that data has become one of the five major factors of production, and clearly put forward the requirements of accelerating the cultivation of data factor market, promoting the opening and sharing of government data, improving the value of social data resources, and strengthening the integration and security protection of data resources. With the acceleration of China's digital economy, a large amount of data has been accumulated in all walks of life, which has laid a solid foundation for data element and marketization. Now that there are data elements, the key is how to store and use these data. The meta universe is a world composed of data. Distributed data storage has become the basic way to maintain the lasting operation of the meta universe. At the same time, in the process of data use, there is a certain fuzzy intersection between the rights boundaries of data producers, managers, integrators, users and other roles, which makes it difficult to confirm the property right attribute of data elements, and also leads to a large number of data abuse, which seriously hinders the circulation and use of data elements. Therefore, data right confirmation is an important premise for data elements to realize circulation transaction and market-oriented allocation. Blockchain is the key technology and infrastructure to solve this series of problems. We can understand the blockchain as a "right confirmation machine" (providing a very low-cost right confirmation tool for data resources), and open up the flow after the right confirmation of the data, so as to make the data truly become an asset and maximize the value of the data. In addition, we should also pay attention to effectively ensure data security, improve the relevant systems for the confirmation, opening, circulation and transaction of data resources, protect personal privacy data, strengthen the security protection of key information infrastructure and strengthen the protection ability of key data resources.
