On November 10th, US Secretary of state Blinken hosted the COVID-19 video foreign ministers' meeting. Foreign ministers and international organizations were responsible for the meeting, discussing the fair distribution of vaccines and global health security. Qin Gang pointed out that at present, China has provided 1.7 billion doses of vaccines and stock solutions to foreign countries, and will exceed 2 billion doses this year. China has supplied more than 70 million doses of vaccine to the "new crown vaccine implementation plan" (covax) and donated US $100 million. We should play an active role in various ways, such as donation, commercial procurement and joint production, so as to maximize the number of vaccines provided. Qin Gang stressed that China firmly supports developing countries in combating epidemic diseases, provides a large number of medical materials, and more than 99% of the vaccines provided to foreign countries arrive in developing countries. President Xi Jinping announced in September that China will donate 100 million doses of vaccine to developing countries before the end of the year. China has launched one belt, one road vaccine partnership initiative with China and 30 countries, and has launched joint vaccine production with 19 developing countries. Qin Gang said that unity and cooperation are the most powerful weapon to overcome the epidemic. All countries should adopt a scientific attitude and oppose stigmatization and politicization. Big countries should earnestly shoulder their responsibilities, take the lead in accelerating the provision of vaccines to low - and middle-income countries and help them cultivate production capacity.
