The Ministry of Education said that it will promote the prevention and treatment of adolescent depression through multiple channels, including strengthening cooperation between health, publicity and other departments under the leadership of Party committees and governments at all levels in the pilot area, adopting a variety of publicity means and using film, television, media and other channels to widely carry out the publicity of scientific and general knowledge of depression; Medical and health institutions strengthen the publicity and education of depression prevention and control, shoot and produce professional, authoritative and easy to understand popular science propaganda films on depression prevention and control, generally enhance the public's understanding of depression and reduce prejudice and discrimination; Give full play to the role of experts, go deep into schools, enterprises, communities and organs, and carry out public welfare lectures related to depression; Public service advertisements for depression shall be set up or broadcast in public places, and each community health education activity room (Health Service Center) shall provide popular science publicity materials to residents. The school is required to provide students with information such as the distribution and contact information of consultation and testing points, and guide students to actively seek consultation and testing services. The Ministry of Education said that it is necessary to establish a whole process youth depression prevention and treatment service and evaluation system. Medical and health institutions at all levels should standardize and continue to carry out training on depression prevention and treatment. Increase the training of doctors in non psychiatric hospitals to improve their ability to identify depression. Various physical examination centers include emotional state assessment in physical examination items for physical examination personnel to choose. All high schools and colleges and universities are equipped with psychological counseling (consultation) rooms and mental health education courses, and equipped with mental health education teachers.
