On November 9, hello travel announced the completion of a new round of financing contract, involving an amount of US $280 million. The investment institutions include ant group and Alibaba. This is Ali's first equity investment and the second financing obtained by Hello travel this year. So far, hello travel has completed financing of more than US $500 million in 2021. In the five years since its establishment, hello travel has received investments from many well-known investment institutions, including ant group, Alibaba, GGV Jiyuan capital, Chengdu capital, Fosun Group, Chunhua capital and Dawan district fund, and has completed four rounds of equity financing in the past two years. In addition to the continued blessing of the old shareholder ant group, the name of Alibaba appeared in this round of financing. In fact, in the financing in the first half of this year, hello travel also obtained shares of Ningde times for the first time. Prior to this, hello travel's two round power exchange brand "xiaoha power exchange" has received joint capital injection from ant group and Ningde times in 2019. Yang Lei, CEO of Hello travel, said that the shareholding of Alibaba and Ningde times is of great significance to hello. In the future, hello will work more closely with ALI ecosystem and Ningde era battery industry chain resources to provide more help for the company to develop business. In 2019, hello established the development direction of "travel based inclusive living platform", and gradually launched local travel and living services such as free ride, small ha power exchange, hello taxi, hello electric vehicle and hello hotel. After more than two years of development, hello's diversified strategic layout has begun to take effect. So far, hello share has been stationed in more than 400 cities (including county-level cities) in China in two rounds, with more than 500 million registered users, and more than 1000 universities and 500 scenic spots. Realize the transformation from single shared bicycle business to diversified travel and life service platform. According to the data, hello hitchhiker has covered more than 300 cities in China, with more than 10 million certified car owners. At the same time, hello also launched taxi business in Guangzhou, Chengdu and other cities. As a new business focused on this year, hello electric vehicle launched three intelligent electric vehicles during the year, and has begun to layout its internal production capacity. While continuing to expand green travel and local life service business, it is developing towards an intelligent manufacturing oriented real economy.
