On October 15, Dechang County held the 2021 training on religious policies and regulations and the spirit propaganda meeting of the Central Ethnic Work Conference. Hai Lianhu, member of the Standing Committee of the county Party committee and head of the United Front Work Department, presided over the training meeting and publicized the spirit of the Central Ethnic Work Conference from three aspects: historical milestone, practical theoretical significance and practical guiding significance. He Yueqing, member of the Party group and deputy director of the state civil and Religious Affairs Commission, was invited to give a lecture at the training meeting. The lecture made a special presentation from five aspects: the essence and basic characteristics of religion, the party's basic policy for religious work, the problems existing in grass-roots religious management and strengthening the party's leadership to do a good job in religious work under the new situation. The meeting stressed: first, improve the political position, unite the joint force of doing a good job in the grass-roots religious work under the new situation, and promote the formation of a religious work pattern with unified leadership of the Party committee, joint management of the party and government, and respective responsibilities of departments. Second, focus on consolidating the party's ruling foundation, ensuring ideological security and enhancing social governance capacity, standardize the management of religious affairs according to law, and constantly improve the level of legalization of religious work. Third, always focus on building a strong sense of the Chinese nation community, fully implement the party's ethnic policy, consolidate and develop socialist ethnic relations of equality, unity, mutual assistance and harmony, promote the establishment of ethnic unity and progress, develop in depth in all fields, and constantly push the cause of ethnic unity and progress in Dechang to a new height in the new era. Fourth, the party committees (Party groups) of all townships (streets) and county-level departments should fulfill the main responsibility, and the secretaries should fulfill the responsibility of the first responsible person, and extend the spirit of the central ethnic work conference to the end of the grass-roots level through trade unions, dam meetings and monthly Party Construction meetings, so as to form a strong atmosphere in which the whole society attaches importance to and supports ethnic work.
