The flowing bed allows the new platoon leader to catch up on the lesson of knowing soldiers

Welcome, once again become a member of Class 5 in the second row! "Last weekend, I moved my bedding from Class 4 to Class 5, and as soon as I walked in, everyone gathered around to greet me. Looking at the sharp edged military blanket by the bedside, I couldn't help but recall what happened when I first arrived in the second row. On the next day, I was arranged to live in the dormitory of Class 5 in the second row. In order to get to know me as soon as possible, during the morning training break, Class 5 monitor Lao Wang smiled and said, "Platoon leader, let's have a basic physical fitness competition!" Looking at his 1.85-meter-tall height and strong forearm, as someone with a background in literature, I knew my strength was not good enough, so I "ran away" on the grounds of needing to write materials for the company affairs meeting at the last minute. At this moment, I caught a glimpse of several soldiers in the class whispering to each other. Class 5 can't stay anymore. ”In the afternoon, while everyone was out training, I quietly moved the bed to Class 6. I thought I could stay at ease for a while, but I didn't expect another unexpected incident. That night, I returned from patrolling and was about to return to work when I heard a conversation coming from the door: "Why does the platoon leader insist on staying in our class? He's not here to monitor us, is he?" "I sleep lightly, he will definitely wake me up when he patrols the shop at night." I stood at the door for a long time, with mixed feelings in my heart. Never mind, let's move back to Class Five! ”I thought and thought again, and after everyone fell asleep, I picked up the bedding and walked out gently. Platoon leader, come and stay in our class! ”Suddenly, Captain Chen from Class 4, who had just finished the night watch, called out to me from behind. After inquiring, it was found that Private Xiaoliang of Class 4 has been feeling down recently, and Captain Chen has had few successful conversations with him. Therefore, he wants me to guide him. So, I moved into Class Four. Later on, I learned that Xiaoliang, who had always been strong willed, did not perform well in several assessments and felt very disappointed, even starting to doubt himself. In order to regain Xiaoliang's confidence, I would chat with him whenever I had free time, train him, and encourage him with my own growth experience. After more than a month, Xiaoliang's grades have improved in all aspects, and I have gradually become one with the soldiers of Class Four. I thought that by understanding Class Four, I would have a comprehensive understanding of the basic situation of the entire platoon. However, the actual situation is not like this. One afternoon, I organized the platoon members to organize the combat equipment warehouse. Just as the work was entering its final stage, I saw two soldiers sitting aside and went straight over to ask, "Why don't you work hard to complete the task before resting?" Seeing that I was a little angry, the deputy squad leader of Class 6, Xiao Zou, rushed over to explain, "The training tasks have been heavy recently, and these two comrades' old injuries have recurred. I arranged for them to take a temporary rest." With that, Xiao Zou pulled up the pants of Private Xiao Zhu. Looking at Xiao Zhu's swollen ankle, I felt guilty: the reason why I misunderstood the soldiers was because I didn't know and be familiar with them enough. Returning to the dormitory, I fell into self blame and repeatedly recalled the scenes of training and living with the fourth class soldiers during this period: from nothing to say at the beginning, to nothing to talk about later, I gradually realized that in order to accurately grasp the soldiers' ideological foundation and enter their inner world, I had to eat, live, study, and entertain with them. Dormitory is a place where people can relax. After intense training every day, everyone can go back to the dormitory to chat about their daily life and thoughts, and the pressure can be greatly released. Sometimes, the true thoughts of soldiers are hidden in such casual conversations. If you don't live with them, it's difficult to understand. Today's young soldiers are mentally active and have distinct personalities. Their thoughts and emotions constantly change with factors such as training pace, task intensity, and family situation. If the military leader wants to capture their 'living thoughts', they must also' move 'themselves. So, I decided to change accommodation every two weeks and prepared a notebook to keep track of any difficulties I encountered during the shift and find solutions to them one by one. After a period of time, the soldiers gradually began to enjoy communicating with me and became accustomed to listening to my opinions when encountering things. Their hearts became closer and closer, and the cohesion and centripetal force within the platoon became stronger. A small bed is not just a place to rest and relax, but also a 'relay station' for spiritual communication. Nowadays, in our company, it has become common for platoon leaders to change shifts and stay overnight. A flowing bed, a forever home, in this way, we new platoon leaders have learned the lesson of knowing soldiers and laid a solid foundation for leading troops and educating people in the future.
