Corruption in the medical field directly harms the vital interests of the people, not only leading to unreasonable increases in medical expenses and increasing the burden on patients, but also undermining the trust between doctors and patients, seriously eroding the public welfare and fairness of the medical system. From the cases investigated in recent years, corruption in the medical industry remains stubborn and complex: some hospital leaders take advantage of their positions to accept high kickbacks by designating suppliers and setting exclusive bidding conditions; In the process of engineering construction and equipment procurement, power money transactions are carried out through means such as inflated configurations and false bidding, seriously damaging the industry ecology. The root cause of these problems lies in the imbalance of power structure and the lack of supervision system, which leads to weak internal supervision mechanisms, lagging external regulatory technical means, and insufficient coordination among regulatory departments. At the same time, there is still room for discretion in the institutional links such as "secondary bargaining" and adjustment of alternative catalogs in the centralized bidding and procurement of drugs. To address corruption in the medical field, it is necessary to improve the decision-making and discussion system of hospital party committees and administrative leadership teams, establish a collective decision-making mechanism for "three major and one major" matters, and strengthen supervision over "key minorities". At the same time, third-party professional institutions will be introduced in key areas such as engineering construction and drug procurement to build a "sunshine supervision" platform and achieve full process traceability management. It is even more important to make good use of digital technologies such as AI and big data, build a smart supervision platform, and use functions such as data comparison and risk warning to make corrupt behavior nowhere to hide. The medical and healthcare industry is the guardian of people's health and must build a strong line of integrity. Only by continuously deepening the treatment of both symptoms and root causes can we safeguard the "life-saving money" of the people.
