On April 29th, the Hanging Spring Hanging Site Scenic Area located in Dunhuang City, Gansu Province held its opening ceremony. The 1:1 restored Hanging Spring Hanging Site, Hanging Spring Hanging Exhibition Center, Hanging Spring Street Market and other formats were showcased near the Hanging Spring Hanging Site, a world cultural heritage site. The scenic area will officially open to the public from May 1st. Xuanquan Zhi was one of the important postal institutions established by the Han Dynasty government in the Hexi Corridor of the Silk Road from the 1st century BC to the 2nd century AD. It was responsible for postal transportation and receiving envoys and merchants, and was used for more than 300 years. The Xuanquan Site has unearthed a large number of Han Dynasty bamboo slips and various cultural relics, witnessing the history of cultural and commercial exchanges between the East and the West. In 2014, the Xuanquanzhi Site was listed in the The World Heritage List as a heritage site of the "Silk Road: Chang'an Tianshan Corridor Road Network". (New Society)
