On April 27, 2025, young members of Inner Mongolia Normal University experienced the production techniques of intangible cultural heritage leather paintings during the theme group day activity of "Appreciating the Charm of Leather Art and Blooming Fingertips". On that day, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Committee of the Communist Youth League held a themed group day event titled "Appreciating the Charm of Leather Art and Blooming Fingertips" at Inner Mongolia Normal University in Hohhot. Under the guidance of representative inheritors of intangible cultural heritage, young members of the Youth League use knives as pens and leather as paper to immerse themselves in the art of making leather paintings and appreciate the unique charm of Northern Xinjiang culture.
