A delegation from a global think tank recently visited the United States and held nearly 20 symposiums with representatives from the academic, business, media, and international organizations to engage in exchange and dialogue on China US relations and global governance. The delegation visited Princeton, New York, Washington, Boston and other places from April 19th to 25th. At a seminar held in Washington, Wang Huiyao, Chairman of the Global Think Tank, expressed his hope to continue strengthening exchanges between Chinese and American think tank scholars, enhancing mutual understanding and trust. During their stay in the United States, the delegation visited American think tanks such as the National Committee on Foreign Policy, the National Committee on US China Relations, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Quincy Institute for Governance Studies, and the Center for Strategic and International Studies. They also had exchanges with non-governmental organizations such as the National Committee on US China Trade, the Asia Society, the China US Association, and commercial organizations such as the Asia Group. The delegation also walked into the United Nations headquarters in New York and made an opening speech at the Security Council Arria Formula meeting on the impact of unilateralism and bullying on international relations.
