It is hoped that this event will attract more local friends, further promote China Sri Lanka sports and cultural exchanges, and enhance the friendship between the two peoples. Sri Lanka's Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Sunil Kumara Gamag, said that in the future, Sri Lanka will further promote Tai Chi and incorporate it into youth training programs and community health projects. Regular Tai Chi seminars and promotion activities will be held, and a bridge of mutual learning and exchange between Sri Lanka and China will be built through the sports culture network. Luohan Mutumara, a 55 year old Tai Chi coach, said in an interview with reporters, "I have practiced Tai Chi for 35 years, and I have trained more than 100 students.
