Recently, the National Healthcare Security Administration, together with the Ministry of Education and six other departments, jointly issued the "Notice on Doing a Good Job in the Training and Development of Long term Caregivers" (hereinafter referred to as the "Notice"), actively promoting the professionalization and professionalization of long-term care, in order to effectively enhance the sense of achievement of the insured population. In response to the current situation of insufficient supply and uneven quality of specialized long-term care services, the "Notice" adheres to the dynamic balance between training and employment supply and demand, emphasizes strict standardization of training and vocational skill level recognition, focuses on implementing various incentive and support policies, and makes arrangements for the training of long-term caregivers. The Notice specifies that all workers within the territory of the People's Republic of China who have reached the age of 16, are physically and mentally healthy, and have the ability to provide long-term care, may voluntarily register for long-term caregiver training.
