On the 26th, it was learned from the Cultural Relics Bureau of Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province that the "Jinci - a model of Chinese temple gardens" exhibition was held at the Guilin Museum in Guangxi, showcasing nearly 100 precious exhibits from the Jinci Museum, allowing the people of Guilin to experience the charm of the millennium old temple. Jinci Temple is one of the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units. The "Jinci Temple - a model of Chinese ancestral temple gardens" exhibition built with the history and culture of Jinci Temple as the core has been exhibited in China Garden Museum, Shaanxi History Museum, Linfen City Museum, Qi Culture Museum and other places. It has been selected into the exhibition directory recommended by the National Cutural Heritage Administration in May 2019, and the promotion directory of the theme exhibition of "carrying forward excellent traditional culture and cultivating socialist core values" in Shanxi Province. The exhibition traces the history of Jinci Temple in the form of a timeline, divided into several parts: ancient architectural treasures, garden masterpieces, and cultural heritage. It exhibits nearly a hundred precious exhibits such as ancient architectural components, calligraphy and painting, couplets, and steles, systematically explaining the architectural art, historical inheritance, cultural landscape, and cultural heritage of Jinci Temple. Through auxiliary exhibition methods such as models, scenes, and graphic versions, the people of Guilin can experience the charm of the millennium old temple. Liu Yuwei, Director of Taiyuan Cultural Relics Bureau, stated that this exhibition is not only a cultural showcase, but also an important opportunity for in-depth exchanges between Shanxi and Guangxi. The northern culture represented by Jinci and the regional culture of Guilin collide and blend with each other. While appreciating the exhibition, the audience can also deeply feel the diversity and harmony of the northern and southern cultures. The exhibition "Jin Ci - A Model of Chinese Temple Gardens" has been held in museums in Yulin, Fangchenggang, Liuzhou and other places in Guangxi. This exhibition is hosted by the Taiyuan Municipal Bureau of Cultural Relics and the Guilin Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism, and jointly organized by the Taiyuan Institute of Cultural Relics Protection, Taiyuan Museum, Taiyuan Jin Ci Museum, Jinyang Ancient City Archaeological Museum, and Guilin Museum.
