The "2025 Hong Kong Science Festival", organized by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, opened on the 17th at the Hong Kong Science Museum and will be open to the public from the 18th to the 27th. At the opening ceremony, the Director of Leisure and Cultural Services of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, Chan Wing man, stated that the "2025 Hong Kong Science Festival" is one of the large-scale events promoting science popularization in Hong Kong. It brings together scientific organizations, educational institutions, schools, museums, and government departments from all walks of life to create a unique platform for the public to explore the mysteries of science, stimulate curiosity about the scientific world, and discover more scientific knowledge, and experience the profound impact of science on humanity. It is understood that the activities of the "2025 Hong Kong Science Festival" include booth activities, scientific demonstrations, workshops, lectures and seminars, movie appreciation, field trips, etc. Part of the underground exhibition hall of the Hong Kong Science Museum will be transformed into a "science market", with multiple booth activities, interactive science demonstrations, and small exhibitions, allowing the public to combine learning with entertainment, experience scientific fun, learn about the contributions made by local researchers, institutions, and organizations in scientific research, invention, and promotion, and fall in love with science. The theme of this event is' Creating 'Ideas Together'. The Hong Kong Science Museum collaborates with over 50 government departments, tertiary institutions, professional education institutions, and scientific organizations to provide more than 100 different forms of scientific activities.
