The National Patriotic Health Campaign Committee recently issued a notice, deciding to include the Healthy Weight Management Action, Healthy Rural Construction Action, and Traditional Chinese Medicine Health Promotion Action in the Healthy China Action. In 2019, the State Council issued the Opinions on Implementing the Healthy China Action and launched 15 special actions to implement the Healthy China Action. Based on the actual work of building a Healthy China and the progress of the Healthy China Action, the three newly added actions will be coordinated with the existing 15 special actions. According to the notice, the goal of the Healthy Weight Management Action is clear. By 2030, a supportive environment for weight management will be widely established, the awareness and skills of weight management among the general public will be significantly improved, healthy lifestyles will be more popular, and a good situation of weight management will be formed where everyone participates and benefits. The upward trend of overweight and obesity in the population will be initially slowed down, and some people's abnormal weight conditions will be improved. The notice introduces that the Healthy Rural Construction Action starts from the perspective of "big health, big health" and focuses on the "four basic paths" of the Healthy China Action - popularizing health knowledge, participating in health actions, providing health services, and extending healthy life expectancy. The overall goal of the 2030 Healthy Rural Construction Action is set. The overall goal of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Health Promotion Action is to achieve a 30% level of traditional Chinese medicine health literacy among Chinese citizens by 2030; The proportion of traditional Chinese medicine clinical departments set up in public comprehensive hospitals at or above the second level and tertiary maternal and child health hospitals reaches 95%; The proportion of traditional Chinese medicine non pharmacological therapies provided by community health service stations and village clinics reached 100% and 80% respectively; Further optimize traditional Chinese medicine health management services for the elderly in the national basic public health service project, with a traditional Chinese medicine health management rate of 90% for children aged 0-36 months.
