On April 17, 2025, the world's first 150000 ton smart fishery large-scale breeding factory ship "Luji Fishery and Breeding 60617" invested and built by Qingdao Guoxin Group was delivered and put into operation in China Shipbuilding Group Beihai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. The ship has a length of 244.9 meters and a aquaculture water body of nearly 100000 cubic meters. It integrates more than 160 innovative technologies and achieves about 90% of the mechanized operation in the entire process. It can produce 3600 tons of high-quality fish such as yellow croaker every year. Its unique "shipborne cabin breeding+intelligent decision-making" mode can accurately regulate the breeding environment, increasing automation level by 45% and reducing labor costs by 20%. As an upgraded version of "Guoxin 1", the delivery of this ship marks the official entry of China's deep-sea aquaculture into the standardized mass production stage, providing an industrial solution for building a "blue granary".
