On April 16th, the newly appointed Serbian Prime Minister Giulo Machut (former) and members of the new cabinet were sworn in at the National Assembly in Belgrade. On the 16th, the Serbian National Assembly voted to approve the composition list of the new government, with Giulo Machut appointed as the Prime Minister. On the same day, the National Assembly of Serbia passed the new cabinet list with 153 votes in favor and 46 votes against, despite the absence of 51 members. The new cabinet has 30 ministers, including 3 deputy prime ministers: Sinisa Mali as the first deputy prime minister and finance minister, Ivica Dacic as the deputy prime minister and interior minister, and Adriana Mesarovich as the deputy prime minister and economy minister. In international affairs, Machut stated that Serbia will continue the process of joining the European Union while maintaining its independence and remain committed to extensive international cooperation.
