On the morning of April 13, 2025, the "Vitality New Stage Passion National Games" public welfare hiking activity organized by the Guangzhou New Social Class Association (hereinafter referred to as the "New Social Class Association") was successfully held in Guangzhou. More than 200 people, including relevant officials from the United Front Work Department of the Guangzhou Municipal Party Committee, officials from the New Level Department of the United Front Work Department of the Provincial and Municipal Party Committees, Min Weiguo, President of the Municipal New Alliance, Jiang Hongfeng and Zeng Lun, Executive Vice Presidents, Chen Zhuangwei and Zheng Feng, Vice Presidents, as well as members and member families of the Provincial, Municipal, and District New Alliance, participated in this event. At the event, Min Weiguo, the President of Guangzhou Xinlian, stated in his speech that as one of the host cities of the 2025 National Games, Guangzhou is welcoming this sports event with high spirits. From the Asian Games to the National Games, this millennium old commercial city has always demonstrated its thriving urban charm to the world with an open and inclusive mindset. New social strata, as an important force in urban construction, are actively participating in the national movement with a sense of ownership. Min Weiguo, the President of the Guangzhou Xinlian Association, has officially launched the "Exploring the Beauty of Guangzhou and Watching the National Games, New Class People Take Photos" activity to give full play to the advantages of new social classes and tell the stories of Guangzhou and the National Games from multiple perspectives and angles. He encourages everyone to use their cameras to capture the beauty of the city and the charm of the National Games. This public welfare hiking activity innovatively adopts a "sports+public welfare" dual wheel drive mode, with a step donation section. Participants can donate their accumulated steps during the hiking process through the "Walk Together" mini program, and the public welfare resources exchanged will be directly used to help disadvantaged children achieve their dreams. At the same time, five fun levels are set up during the hiking journey, cleverly integrating the National Games knowledge quiz, environmental relay, and garbage classification, popularizing the knowledge of the National Games, conveying environmental protection concepts, and allowing participants to deeply experience the charm of the National Games competition while walking. The participants in the hiking event stated that there are approximately 5 million new members of the social class in Guangzhou, which is a very large group. Chen Zhuangwei, Vice President of the Guangzhou New World Federation, introduced to the reporter from Xinhua News Agency that this public welfare hiking activity not only provides an opportunity for fitness and communication for the new members of the social class, but also gathers strength for the successful hosting of the National Games. Chen Zhuangwei, Vice President of the Guangzhou New World Federation, demonstrated the era style of the new members of the social class in this event. Participants expressed that through this event, they deeply felt the strong atmosphere of the National Games. They will take their mission as their responsibility, demonstrate the achievements of the new class, and continue this enthusiasm into their daily work, contributing to the development of Guangzhou.
