This year's Drama Culture Festival is jointly held in Macau, Hong Kong, and Guangzhou, and will last until May. It includes 12 characteristic plays such as drama, children's drama, song and dance drama, musical theater, Yue opera, Cantonese opera, etc. It will showcase the profound heritage and modern vitality of excellent traditional Chinese culture in a three-dimensional way, providing audiences with a diversified theatrical viewing experience. During this period, we will also organize activities such as bringing drama into the campus and conducting drama exchange seminars. Chen Yongquan, Secretary of the Party Group and Vice Chairman of the Chinese Dramatists Association, stated that the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, a land full of vitality and charm, has been a forefront for the intersection and integration of diverse cultures since ancient times. For five years, the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Chinese Theatre Culture Festival has set sail from Macau and joined forces with Hong Kong and Guangzhou, injecting vitality into the inheritance and development of Chinese theatre. Liang Huimin, Director of the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao SAR Government, delivered a speech stating that culture is a bridge of the soul, and drama, with its unique charm, moves people's hearts and promotes understanding. We hope to deepen cultural exchanges between Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau through this event, promote the prosperity of theatrical arts, and at the same time, use this opportunity to attract more high-quality cultural exchange projects to settle in Macau, allowing excellent traditional Chinese culture to flourish through Macau. As the main venue, Macau presented the Sino French co created stage play "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea", play "Bass Cello", musical play "Cat God in the Forbidden City", and Macau play "Bridge Principle" with the theme of "Cultural Translation".
