After the earthquake in Myanmar on March 28th, the officers and soldiers of the department responded to the order and dispatched two Y-20 planes in the early morning of the next day to transport 118 rescue personnel and medical experts, as well as 42 tons of humanitarian aid to Myanmar. On the morning of April 8th, four Y-20 aircraft from the department were ordered to fly to Naypyidaw, Myanmar again to transport the fourth batch of Chinese aid for emergency humanitarian earthquake relief in Myanmar. On the morning of April 9th, three rescue team members departed from Naypyidaw on four Y-20 aircraft and successfully returned home. This mission is the first time that the Chinese Air Force has dispatched four Y-20 aircraft simultaneously to carry out international rescue operations.
