Activate the festive economy with a pool of spring water

On March 3rd of the same year, the month long festival in the land of Bagui once again kicked off, featuring folk songs, throwing embroidered balls, grabbing fireworks, playing bronze drums, enjoying delicious food, and dancing bamboo poles. After years of deep cultivation and promotion, the influence and social awareness of the "March 3rd in Guangxi" event have continued to rise, gradually evolving from traditional ethnic festivals into an important cultural symbol and tourism business card of Guangxi. Ethnic minority culture is an indispensable component of Chinese culture. As a carrier and presentation form of ethnic minority culture, ethnic festivals are not only memories of history, but also resources that support development and nourish the future. In the new era, the spiritual and cultural needs of the people have shown diverse, multi-level, and multi-faceted characteristics. Some places seize the characteristics of ethnic culture, deeply tap into ethnic cultural resources, use traditional festivals as links, actively create ethnic festival activity brands, effectively promote the integrated development of cultural and tourism industries, not only enhance the supply capacity of cultural services and cultural products, but also inject new impetus and vitality into local economic development. In 2014, March 3rd (Zhuang March 3rd) was listed as a representative project of national intangible cultural heritage. Since then, Guangxi has organized various cultural, sports, and folk activities full of regional characteristics and ethnic customs during festivals and holidays through government platforms, corporate performances, and public participation, focusing on building a cultural tourism consumption brand that integrates ethnic culture, folk festivals, mass sports, cultural tourism, and promoting consumption. In addition to Guangxi, Guizhou also relies on its unique ethnic cultural resources advantages to construct the image of a tourism destination by creating festival cultural business cards, giving rise to a series of cultural phenomena such as "village super", "village BA", and "village evening", promoting the continuous extension of the cultural tourism integration chain. Chuxiong Prefecture in Yunnan Province focuses on creating momentum through festivals, gathering people through festivals, promoting tourism through festivals, and promoting prosperity through festivals. By carefully planning ethnic festivals such as the Yi Torch Festival, the Lisu Festival, the Miao Flower Mountain Festival, and the Dai Water Splashing Festival, it promotes the integrated development of "festivals+culture+tourism" and activates the festival economy as a "pool of spring water". Jingning She Autonomous County in Zhejiang Province has held 18 consecutive "March 3rd" events in China's She Township, attracting over 200000 tourists annually... Traditional customs and ethnic festivals are not only cultural activities and symbols, but also a reflection of national spirit and cultural confidence. The traditional customs and ethnic festivals passed down from various regions are not simply cultural platters, but a picture of the lives of people of all ethnic groups as if they were one family. They are a profound reflection of the cultural integration and coexistence between different ethnic groups, and an important link for people of all ethnic groups to firmly establish the concept of the "Four Communes" community and strengthen the "Five Identifications". Practice has proven that holding ethnic festivals as a carrier can promote extensive social and cultural exchanges among people of all ethnic groups, as well as deep psychological and emotional integration. This helps to enhance the cohesion and centripetal force between ethnic groups, holding them tightly together like pomegranate seeds, and effectively forging a sense of community for the Chinese nation. Culture is the lifeblood and soul of the cultural and tourism industry. Ethnic festivals carry the historical culture and life philosophy of the nation, embodying the customs, values, and distinctive cultural characteristics of ethnic life. Adhering to the integration of culture and tourism, promoting culture through tourism, and integrating culture and tourism, we must identify the connection points between ethnic culture and modern life, gather popularity and attract traffic through festivals, and promote the "seamless integration" of folk culture and modern life. Only then can we promote the "two-way rush" of culture and tourism, achieve the deep integration of festival culture and tourism formats throughout the entire chain, and inject strong impetus into boosting consumption, expanding domestic demand, and promoting economic circulation. To build a brand of ethnic festival activities, we must not only hold onto the "roots" of the spiritual core, but also extend the "leaves" of the expression of the times, and bear the "fruits" of integration and innovation in observing people's lives. At this year's "Guangxi March 3 · Ba Gui Carnival" event, the support of artificial intelligence became a major highlight: the ultra-high simulation robot "Ah Niu Ge" and the real person "New Liu Sanjie" collaborated to perform a duet; Yushu humanoid robot puts on a strong brocade vest and collaborates with Guangxi street dance youth to unlock a new gameplay of "Subject Three"... The combination of modern technology and traditional folk customs, the collision of intangible cultural heritage elements and fashionable toys, not only endows ethnic festivals with new connotations and forms of expression, but also becomes the finishing touch of innovative and diversified consumption scenes. This also inspires us to enhance the brand of ethnic festivals and promote high-quality development of the cultural and tourism industry. We need to not only deeply explore ethnic, cultural, and regional characteristics, but also use emerging technologies and innovative expressions of the times to create more cultural and tourism products that not only contain excellent traditional cultural elements, but also have a strong sense of life, highlight the era's style, and reflect ethnic characteristics. Ethnic festivals are also resources for development. Only by transforming more "spectators" into "protagonists" can we further unleash consumption potential, promote the expansion of new types of consumption, cultivate new engines and driving forces for economic growth, and create a beautiful business card that is both well received and popular.
