Xiamen delivers a new generation of passenger roll on/roll off ships for direct flights to Taiwan

On March 27th, the 300 passenger roll on/roll off ship built by China Shipbuilding Corporation Guangzhou International Co., Ltd. for Xiamen Mintai Ferry Co., Ltd. was delivered in Guangzhou. The ship is named "COSCO SHIPPING Star" and will be put into operation on the route between Xiamen and Taiwan, replacing the old ships operating on the existing route. (Liaoxin News Agency) On March 11, the "COSCO Shipping Star" Ro Ro passenger ship made a trial voyage at the the Pearl River Estuary (UAV photo). On March 27th, the "COSCO Shipping Star" passenger roll on/roll off ship held a naming ceremony in Guangzhou (drone photo).
